Two Roadway Drivers First to Head to Nationals After Winning at Arizona State Championships [04-05-2003]
Roadway Express proudly announces that Dave Salerno and Greg Nauertz are the first members of Team Roadway for the 2003 National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC).
Salerno and Nauertz were awarded this honor after winning first place at the Arizona State Truck Driving Championships held in Phoenix, April 5. This is the first state competition of the 2003 NTDC competition.

Nauertz, who headed to Nationals in 1999 and 2002, also earned the honors of High Course Score, and GRAND CHAMPION!
These competitions include a personal interview, challenging maneuvering tests, vehicle inspection procedures, and a written examination covering vehicle operation and federal safety regulations.
These drivers merit the highest recognition for their dedication to safety, professionalism, and driving skill. As state champions, they are on the "Road to Columbus" to compete at the American Trucking Associations (ATA) NTDC, which will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, August 19-23, 2003.
