Christina's Smile Children's Dental Clinic delivers quality dental care at no cost to children in need. Founded and managed by Dr. Richard R. Garza in memory of his daughter, Christina, the clinic is housed in two mobile 48-foot trailers.
Each
trailer is equipped with three dental treatment stations,
x-ray equipment and an instrument sterilization area. Operating
in cooperation with the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour, the clinic
visits cities hosting a sponsored golf tournament. Roadway
transports the clinic at no charge to its many stops. In addition,
Roadway-sponsored events raise several hundred thousand dollars
to help support the clinic every year.

A select group of top Roadway drivers talks with community groups, law enforcement personnel and students about safely sharing the road with trucks.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Fund-raising activities and payroll deduction by Roadway employees raised over $176,000 for St. Jude in 2005. St. Jude is the Memphis-based center for the research and treatment of catastrophic diseases in children. In just six years, Roadway employees have raised over $2 million for this cause.
