Sponsorship Exclusions

• Individual persons or families
  
• Cash donations to member agencies supported by United Way
  
• Political candidates or organizations including cities, towns, counties, municipalities including all fraternal, advocacy or labor organizations (If you are seeking this type of support, please contact YRC Worldwide Government Relation's Office).
  
• Religious organizations for religious purposes
  
• Foundations, Memorials, Endowments, Gifts, Honoraria or Gratuities
  
• Contributions to groups with unusually high fundraising or administrative expenses
  
• Courtesy advertising programs, parties or benefit performances
  
• Matching gift plans
  
• Documentary films, books, magazine ads, etc.
  
• Dissertations or Student Research projects
  
• Loans, scholarships, fellowships and grants to individuals (Children of Roadway employees are eligible for the annual scholarship program sponsored by Roadway and the GAR Foundation, a private, independent foundation established in 1967 as a charitable trust by Galen J. Roush, Co-founder of Roadway and his wife, Ruth.)
  
• Travel funds for tours, exhibitions or trips by individuals or special interest groups
  
• Organizations that discriminate because of race, color, religion, national origin or any areas covered by any applicable federal, state
  or local laws
