Visit the parking lot at our corporate headquarters in Akron, and you will find the close-in parking spaces reserved for selected United Way donors. That’s one small indication of the strong Roadway support for this organization. We know that United Way provides a highly efficient way to support a variety of social service providers in the communities where we do business.
Through the annual campaign at our Akron headquarters, we make a sizeable corporate donation. Employees at each of our many offices and service centers across the country are also encouraged to conduct a local campaign. Each employee has the opportunity to make a personal contribution to this worthwhile organization.

We participate with the U.S. Department of Labor in its Job Corps program, helping to provide education and vocational training to disadvantaged youth.
"Share the Road Safely" Trailer
A Roadway trailer displays the Ohio State Highway Patrol's "Share the Road Safely" message throughout Ohio. The message is funded by a federal education grant from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
Fasten Your Safety Belt Trailers
Working in partnership with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Roadway provides two trailers with billboard-size messages reminding people to fasten their safety belts whenever they are in a vehicle.
