Only authorized Roadway employees and authorized external HR partners will be allowed to view your personal information. This may include management looking to hire people with your expertise, HR personnel, and others directly involved in the hiring process or the position you are seeking. Your information is not available to other Roadway employees.
Will my personal information ever be sold or offered to any company outside of Roadway Express?
No! Under no circumstances is your personal information made available to any party or entity other than Roadway Express and authorized external human resource partners. Confidentiality will not be compromised in this way.
Will my current employer know if I apply to Roadway Express?
No, not from us. We would not contact your current employer unless we made you a job offer. Then, we use an outside organization to verify details on your application, including current employment. During the background check no mention is made that the purpose for the check is for a job application.
How long will my personal information be retained?
Roadway will not retain your personal information longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is collected. Resumes and other personal information you provide may be retained in order to comply with various requirements on applicant data reporting.
What about emails and other correspondence?
Any correspondence you send will be strictly confidential.
