2003 National Truck Driving Championships This Month

Team Roadway is heading to the Nationals 35 strong! These state champions will compete in the 66th National Truck Driving Championships held August 19-23, 2003 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Our newest addition to our championship team is Paul Wzientek. Paul placed first in the 4-Axle class at the New York Truck Driving Championships held in Rochester, New York on July 11-12, 2003. He is domiciled out of Roadway's Buffalo, New York relay.

Roadway State Truck Driving champions include winners from twenty-five states. These drivers merit the highest recognition for their dedication to safety, professionalism, and driving skill. Visit the 2003 NTDC site to keep up-to-date on the happenings.

The ExpressWORKS files for v5.30 containing new rates effective 7/13/03, as well as the latest non-direct tariff 111 update are now available online in the "ExpressWORKS Updates" section of www.roadway.com

To download a full version or update your ExpressWORKS program, click on the appropriate file within the chart on the ExpressWORKS download page.

Roadway and the Discovery Channel's "Monster House"

Roadway's Time-Critical Services bring the goods in the Discovery Channel's "Monster House" home improvement episodes--"Hollywood House," "Old West House," and the "Sultan House." The first two episodes aired in July. The "Sultan House" episode is scheduled to air on August 18 at 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.; again on August 23 at 10:00 p.m.; and then on August 24 at 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Ryder Honors Roadway As One of 2002 Quality Carriers

Ryder System, Inc. presented Roadway with the "2002 Ryder Carrier Quality Award" at the Carrier Quality Award and Carrier Appreciation event held June 27, 2003. Award criteria includes on-time service, claims performance, customer service, technological application, economic value and innovation in technology.

Australian Packing Declaration Forms Now Online

Now available in the www.roadway.com Shipping Forms Library -- Australian Packing Declaration forms -- documents that help you comply with the new AQIS (Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service) regulations regarding packing materials in your shipments to Australia.

Select the appropriate form, either a single shipment form or one that covers 12 months.
