Another first in the industry! Roadway's new "Need to Know Your Freight Class?" tool allows shippers to complete an online form to determine your shipment's correct National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC). Dedicated Customer Care Team members will determine the freight class and respond via e-mail within one business day. Find out more here.

Three of Roadway's professional road drivers have recently achieved remarkable milestones: Robert G. Layman (White Pine, TN) has achieved a career milestone of driving FOUR million miles without a preventable accident in a career that spanned 45 years; John Kopiak (Winston-Salem, NC) has logged THREE million miles without a preventable accident; and Paul Krueger (Eagan, MN) has driven TWO million miles without a preventable accident. To honor their commitment to safety, these men received a plaque, a jacket, and their own tractor with their individual achievements emblazoned on the door to drive as long as they are with Roadway.
Six of Roadway's professional drivers have recently achieved the one million mile accident free milestone: James Grogan (Akron, OH); Frank Steinhauer (Akron, OH); Larry Popowiecki (Detroit, MI); Frank Morris (Detroit, MI); Roger Tidrick (Columbus, OH); and Dave Comegys (Dover, DE).
