Driver Signposts

Roadway drivers are keeping busy carefully attaining safe-driving milestones.

Driver SignpostsFive Roadway drivers have recently achieved the exceptional career milestone of driving THREE million consecutive miles without a preventable accident--the mammoth equivalent of circling the earth's equator 120 times: Steven J. Shorter (Valdosta, GA); Mario G. Quezada (Chicago, IL); and three Texans from Dallas: Charles E. Peel, James E. Norman, and Gilbert T. Holloway.

The following Roadway drivers have recently reached the TWO million consecutive miles without a preventable accident: three Chicagoans--James D. Hitchcock, Joe B. Rice, and Murrell C. Lagacy; Roger G. Terrill (Columbus, OH); Angela R. Kircher (Denver, CO); Jeffry L. Chapman (Hagerstown, MD); Jeffrey P. Borich (Harrisburg, PA); Larry E. Thomas (Memphis, TN); Leonard M. Lambert (Nashville, TN); David J. Eckrote (Stroudsburg, PA); William S. Colotto (Toledo, OH); two Mississippians--Willie A. Hopson and Timothy A. Wisen from Meridian; and two drivers from Winston-Salem, NC--Bruce H. Kamradt and Charles L. Strickland.

Driving two million accident-free miles is the equivalent of circling the earth's equator 80 times, without a preventable accident.
