"Coats for Kids"- Roadway Helps Salvation Army

The Roadway service center in Indianapolis, IN, helped the local chapter of the Salvation Army collect donations for its 19th annual "Coats for Kids" campaign.

RoadwayDonations were collected at the stadium before the game between the Indianapolis and St. Louis professional football teams on Monday, Oct. 17.

Roadway volunteered a truck and trailer along with three employees.

States Stacey Anderson of the Salvation Army: "Bernie Auberry, Walter Vaughn and Phil Midyette from Roadway helped us to not only collect the coats, but they also helped in transporting them via Roadway truck and trailer and in the unloading... They did a great job and helped us to collect over 1,300 coat... they also helped us to collect monetary donation... They were a great help, and we couldn't have done it without them."
