Did you know Roadway offers reliable northbound and southbound service between the U.S. and Canada, moving 40,000 cross-border shipments every month?
With our new Broker-Inclusive Service, we can handle every aspect of your Canada shipment. Your charges for custom clearance, cross-border transportation, brokerage, and duties and taxes are placed on a single invoice.
And 95% of our shipments are preapproved for customs clearance prior to arriving at the border.
To speed crossings, we electronically transmit shipping documents and other data to Canada Customs before our trucks ever reach the border. The average crossing time is three minutes per shipment.
Roadway is homeland security compliant and certified in the C-TPAT, FAST, CSA and PIP programs. Our participation in these federal programs for cargo security means faster border clearances for your shipments.

Did you know that Roadway has a "Road Team" with members who present messages about safety and professionalism to the public, other Roadway employees, students, legislators, regulators and customers?
The Roadway Road Team recently presented a "No-Zone" demonstration at Clark State Community College Truck Driver Training Institute in Springfield, Ohio.
The key to safe truck driving? "Total awareness and surrounding the truck with space," states Roadway Assistant Coordinator, Rich Scholl.
What can car drivers do to practice safe driving around trucks?
Scholl recommends drivers not linger on the sides of trucks, avoid tailgating, pass trucks quickly, and don't cut in front of a truck until the whole front of the truck is visible in the inside rear-view mirror. Scholl observed, "Common sense and common courtesy go a long way."
This demonstration was also sponsored by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Road Team, and Buckle Up America.
In 1986, the American Trucking Associations began America's Road Team to promote road safety. This program has served as a benchmark for the Roadway Road Team model. Many of our drivers have been chosen to be members of one, or both, of these prestigious teams. These drivers are the best in the business.
