John Jordan "Buck" O'Neil, considered one of the greatest goodwill ambassadors of the Negro Leagues, died on Oct. 6, 2006. He was 94. Often a special guest at the Roadway "Times of Greatness" mobile museum, Buck was always eager to share stories from this important era in baseball. He will be terribly missed.
