New Online Resource for Canada Shipping

It now contains:

E-Tracking Shipment Options

Computere-Tracking, accessible through "Tracking" on the "Your Tools" menu in my.roadway.com, gives you the ability to receive notifications automatically via email for one or all of your shipments in the Roadway system.

It's simple to use:

  1. Access e-Tracking on my.roadway.com.
  2. Enter a PRO number. Receive e-Tracking notifications for all your shipments by choosing the "update" link under the PRO number field.
  3. Select a notification option when a shipment is picked up, out for delivery, late; delivered, and/or exceptions have occurred.
  4. Elect to be notified when proof of delivery is available. Receive an email with a link to documentation on my.roadway.com.
  5. Your email will pre-populate with your registration profile info. You can enter up to 3 other email addresses to send notifications and/or proofs of delivery.
  6. Choose the email type.
  7. Click "Submit." Notifications are received based on your selections at 8:00 a.m., noon, 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Brad Bryant Wins U.S. Senior Open

Brad and Bart BryantChampions Tour professional Brad Bryant shot a final-round 68 to win the U.S. Senior Open at Whistling Straits, in Kohler, WI on July 8. Brad's 6-under finish was the second-largest comeback in a U.S. Senior Open. He was the only player to shoot four below-par rounds for the tournament.

Brad holds onto second place overall in the Charles Schwab Cup season-long race after his trip to the British Senior Open, July 26-29.

Brad's brother, Roadway-sponsored PGA golfer, Bart Bryant, returned to tournament play July 26 at The Canadian Open, played at Angus Glen Golf Club, Markham, Ontario, Canada.

After 17 events, Bart remains in the top 100 on the 2007 PGA TOUR World Money List.

Check out the action on the Golf Channel August 9-12 as Bart takes on Southern Hills Country Club in the 88th PGA Championship, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

38 Roadway Drivers Journey to National Championships

Roadway proudly announces 38 of its best professional drivers will compete at the 2007 National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC) on August 21-25 at the Minneapolis (MN) Convention Center. Sponsored by the American Trucking Associations, approximately 400 drivers from around the country will vie for national titles in their respective vehicle classes.

"We are proud of all the Roadway drivers who participated in the state driving competitions. Their willingness to compete is an indication of their remarkable driving skills, professionalism and dedication to safety.

"We congratulate our state champions and wish them the best at the national competition," said Roadway president, Terry Gilbert.

Times of Greatness Winds Thru Midwest

The "Times of Greatness" tour stopped at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati on July 28 for a matchup between the Reds and the Chicago Cubs. Former Reds player Ron Oester signed autographs in the Machine Room Grill.

Roadway Times of Greatness Truck

Andrea Morrison, from the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, was on hand to share stories and some of the rich history of the Negro Leagues with Roadway guests. Former Negro League players Chuck Harmon and Charlie Davis also attended the event, signed autographs, and shared stories from their playing days.

August 4, the tour landed at the PNC Park in Pittsburgh where the Pirates hosted the Cincinnati Reds during the Pittsburgh Pirates annual African American Heritage Weekend. Former Pirates Chuck Tanner and Bob Robertson participated in an autograph session.

The 53' Negro Leagues mobile museum has completed 13 stops on its 14-city tour.

Driver Achieves One Million Milestone

Million MilersRoadway professional driver, Terry Weeter, recently reached the career milestone of driving one million miles without a preventable accident. Terry has driven for Roadway for the past 17 years.

When asked what message he would send to other motorists, Terry stated: "My key message is to allow plenty of space for trucks. It takes longer for a truck to turn and longer for a truck to stop."
