Roadway-Sponsored PGA Bryant Brothers Golf Update

Brad Bryant, Roadway-sponsored Champions Tour golfer, finished 4th in points at The Charles Schwab Cup Race, Oct. 28, at the beautiful and challenging Sonoma Golf Club.

Brad Bryant was within one shot of the leaders at the turn of the final round. Had Bryant won the tournament, he could have also won the points championship. He finished tied for 20th in the tournament, and 4th in points.

After 24 events and 2 wins--including the U.S. Senior Open and 10 top-ten finishes--Brad is 3rd on the money list for 2007. Brad posted some great numbers and had a fantastic year.

Brad's brother, Roadway-sponsored PGA Golfer, Bart Bryant, closed out his year at Disney World, Nov. 4th, at The Children's Miracle Network Classic presented by Wal-Mart at the Magnolia Golf Club, Lake Buena Vista, FL.

Older brother, Brad, won on this course in 1995. This year was Bart's turn to play for his share of the $4.6 million purse.

Bart has had a good year this year--24 events--two top-ten finishes--and seven in the top twenty-five. He remains in the top 100 of the PGA TOUR World Money List and is ranked 18th in driving accuracy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cross BorderQ: What is a Custom Broker?
A:
A Custom Broker is licensed by the government to act as an agent for the importer of goods. A broker may prepare required Customs documents, classify goods, collect duties and taxes owed the government on imported goods or perform other tasks to comply with government rules and regulations.

Q: What is PAPS?
A: PAPS (Pre-Arrival Processing System) is used by the U.S. Bureau of Customs and Border Protection to expedite the release of goods. Each shipment under PARS requires a specific bar code label. The bar code is attached to the invoice and the truck manifest by the carrier while the goods are in transit to the border. The carrier faxes the documents to the U.S. Customs Broker to prepare the entry and clear the shipment before it arrives at the border.

Q: What is ABI?
A: ABI (Automated Broker Interface) permits certified participants to interface directly with the U.S. Customs Service Data Center in order to transmit entry data on imported merchandise.
