Worldwide Inc. has announced that its TMI member subsidiaries have reached
a tentative agreement with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters
(IBT) on a new 5-year labor contract covering most dockworkers, drivers
and certain other union employees.
"The early outcome of these
negotiations is positive for our employees and positive for our
customers," said Mike Smid, President and CEO of YRC North American

Invoice
reports located in
my.roadway.com provide detailed
info on shipments for which you are the payer of the freight charges.
For a standard report, just simply select Invoice
from the standard drop-down report list at the top of the
section. Click Run. Then receive info about your invoices
(including totals for the number of shipments, invoice amount and amount
due which appear at the bottom of the report).
Custom
reports are also available. Click Invoice, but
then click Create to select report attributes in the
Select Criteria section such as: date type, date range, service, payment
activity, payer, bill type, and currency.
Along with selecting
report attributes, you can also choose the report format (html, Excel,
ASCII, CSV); order data fields as desired; save, customize and schedule
reports; and limit reports to one or more shipping locations or to one or
more vendor/supplier/customer locations.
Best of all, because you
can save custom reports, you can run the custom report at any time to get
updates. Or select email as the format and you can

"During my 22 years as a professional driver, I've driven through all types of bad weather and learned a lot about staying safe. Now that winter's upon us, I'd like to share some of my tips to help you stay safe," stated Ron.
The January safe winter driving tip--Give yourself extra space: Allow for more room between your vehicle and other vehicles. You should always have enough space and time to move out of harm's way.

Albert Adams. Albert is part of the American Trucking Associations'
national "Share the Road" highway safety tour.
As more families travel to holiday destinations, extra traffic fills our highways. Safely sharing the road during this time takes on a special significance.
According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, 37 individuals died on Ohio highways last holiday season. In addition, there were a total of 14,811 injury crashes on snowy and icy Ohio roads from 2004-2006.
Based on national statistics, 35% of all truck-involved highway fatalities occur in a truck's blind spots; and 3 out of 4 truck-involved fatalities are unintentionally initiated by car drivers.
All drivers can more easily avoid crashes by simply being particularly aware of the blind spots around trucks.
