How do I get information about my shipments?
- You can always call your local Roadway facility for information about a particular shipment, including its current delivery status and location.
- Online:
- Our public site, www.roadway.com,
provides applications for tracking, rating, ordering pickups; and viewing
BOLs, weight certificates, and delivery receipts up to a year after shipment
delivery.
You can also request status updates for single shipments via email.
- Our private site, my.roadway.com, provides applications for managing pre-pickup through post-delivery shipping transactions. This password- protected site also gives users real-time views of invoice and remittance activity and tools for customizing information. - Wireless tracking: Track up to five shipments at a time by PRO, bill of lading, purchase order or booking number with your PALM OS operating device.

- EDI (Electronic Data Interchange): our online EDI Resource Center allows you to initiate a partnership or set up a new transaction.

Can I use the Internet to find out how much it will cost to move my freight?

Does Roadway transport hazardous materials?
Roadway Express transports all classes/divisions of hazardous materials except high-level explosives in divisions 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3, highway route controlled quantities of radioactive materials and hazardous waste. Roadway has a long history of sage handling and distribution of chemical products. Roadway does not accept hazardous materials or dangerous foods for air transportation. Our field employees are knowledgeable of procedures for transporting hazardous materials through continuous training and compliance.

How do I set up an account and start shipping with Roadway?
If this is the first time you have used Roadway, it is best to set up an account. You can do that through the First-Time Shipper section of our public website or call your local Customer Care team. You may qualify for discount pricing depending on your shipment type or credit from Roadway. Once you have an account, join the over 160,000 users who have registered for my.roadway.com.

How do I know what class of freight I am shipping?
Most manufacturers and professional transportation managers are participating members of the National Motor Freight Traffic Classification (NMFC) or are familiar with their products' classifications. If you are not sure of the proper classification of your freight, contact your Roadway Customer Care Team and one of our specialists will help you determine the correct code for your shipment.

Who do I call if my shipment needs special handling?
Call your local Customer Care Team! Roadway facilities are capable of handling almost any size, shape, or density of freight. If your freight requires special consideration, note your needs on your bill of lading and call your Customer Care Team.
