Shipments To and From Mexico
Shipments to or from Mexico, while in Mexico, have a standard maximum liability of US $0.50 per pound, with a per shipment maximum liability of US $5,000.
Shipments moving solely within Mexico have a standard maximum liability of $0.10 per pound, with a per shipment liability of US $200.
Excess liability can be purchased (at a price specified in Item 780) in either case, up to a maximum shipment liability of US $50,000 per shipment (which includes the initial standard maximum liability of $5,000 or $200).
