Seven more Roadway drivers have joined the 2000 ATA National Truck Driving Championships Team, making the total 32 year-to-date.
Roadway Express proudly announces that the following drivers took first place in their respective state truck driving championships held June 16-17, 2000:

Along with individual awards given to these outstanding participants, Team Roadway in Ohio won the team trophy.
These competitions include difficult skills and maneuvering tests and a written examination covering vehicle operation and federal safety regulations. Competitors are also tested on vehicle inspection procedures.
These drivers merit the highest recognition for their dedication to safety, professionalism, and driving skill. As state champions, these drivers will compete at the American Trucking Associations (ATA) National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC), which will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, August 9-12, 2000.
