Roadway professional driver Robert ("R.B.") Bielamowicz recently achieved the elite status of driving FOUR million consecutive miles without a preventable accident. That's the mammoth equivalent of circling the earth's equator 160 times.
As any professional driver knows, driving safely each day is a feat. Driving safely for 30 years--the span of R.B.'s career with Roadway--is a milestone reached by a select few professionals.
R.B., a 67-year-old resident of Coppell, TX, is the first Roadway professional driver in Texas to reach this milestone.
Recognized for his remarkable safety achievement with a police escort and reception at the Roadway service center in Irving, TX, he received a plaque, leather jacket, cap, belt and belt buckle (with the 4 million mile safety logo) honoring his dedication.
R.B.'s dedicated tractor, which he received for attaining 3 million consecutive safe miles, now displays a new 4 million mile door decal to honor his professional achievement and contributions to highway safety.
R.B. Bielamowicz joins an elite group of 9 Roadway drivers currently behind the wheel exemplifying the leadership, professionalism and skills to be the "best of the best" in our industry.
