Roadway Express proudly announces that John Stallworth is a new addition to Team Roadway for the 2002 National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC). Stallworth was awarded this honor after winning first place in the 4 Axle class at the Alabama State Truck Driving Championships held in Bessemer May 17-18, 2002.
Stallworth is a driver/sales representative and dockworker at the Birmingham, AL Roadway service center.
These competitions include difficult maneuvering tests and a written examination covering vehicle operation and federal safety regulations. Competitors are also tested on vehicle inspection procedures.
These drivers merit the highest recognition for their dedication to safety, professionalism, and driving skill. As state champions, they are on the "road to Milwaukee" to compete at the American Trucking Associations (ATA) NTDC, which will be held at the Midwest Express Center in Milwaukee August 13-17, 2002.
