AKRON, Ohio - November 18, 2002 - Roadway Express, Inc. today announced that Andrean R. Whitmore has joined the Company as Corporate Counsel. She will be involved in employment and labor issues, as well as various corporate legal matters.
Prior to joining Roadway, Whitmore was an Associate with the law firm of Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, where she practiced business and commercial litigation.
Whitmore is a member of the American Bar Association, the Women in the Law Section of the Cleveland Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, American Corporate Counsel Association and Norman S. Minor Bar Association. She is also a member of American Inns of Court William K. Thomas Chapter and Kaleidoscope Magazine 40/40 Club--Class of 2000.
Whitmore holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University's School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
