AKRON, Ohio — May 12, 2003 — Roadway Express, Inc. announced today that John Schoener has joined its Exhibit Transportation Services (ETS) sales team as National Sales Manager. He will be leading the sales effort of ETS for the entire United States.
Schoener joined Roadway in 1985, serving most recently as National Tradeshow Manager for the Southern Division for the last six years. Prior to that he has held various positions as operations supervisor, personnel manager and sales representative.
"John brings17 years of experience and expertise to this new position," stated Director of Exhibit Transportation Services, Greg Risner. "His talent and commitment to finding custom solutions to meet our tradeshow customers' requirements will enhance our strategies to effectively meet the challenges of the tradeshow market."
Schoener received his Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati. He has received Roadway's Vice President's Club award for sales excellence three times and is a member of the International Association for Exhibit Management.
Residing in Cincinnati, Schoener and his wife, Jane have two children, Morgan and Mitch.
