
Roadway Express proudly announces two Michigan drivers are new additions to Team Roadway for the 2003 National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC).
Terry Weeter, and Ermelindo Maldonado, placed first in their classes at the Michigan Truck Driving Championships held in Lansing, Michigan on June 27-28.
Terry Weeter won first place in the 3-Axle class this year. He is domiciled out of Roadway's Gaylord, Michigan facility.
Ermelindo Maldonado won first place in the Doubles class in this year's Michigan Truck Driving Championships. Ermelindo is domiciled out of Roadway's Detroit, Michigan facility.

This competition includes difficult maneuvering tests and a written examination covering vehicle operation and federal safety regulations. Competitors are also tested on vehicle inspection procedures.
These drivers merit the highest recognition for their dedication to safety, professionalism, and driving skill. As state champions, they are on the "Road to Columbus" to compete at the American Trucking Association's (ATA) National Truck Driving Championships, which will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, August 19-23, 2003.
