AKRON, Ohio - September 16, 2003 - Roadway Express, Inc. has been recognized for its outstanding performance in the August issue of Logistics Management as one of the top "Quest for Quality" less-than-truckload (LTL) national carriers for 2003. Having achieved this honor 19 consecutive years, Roadway has been enshrined in the Quest for Quality hall of fame for 10 years of top performance.
More than 2,700 readers responded to this year's Quest for Quality survey, which is the largest customer satisfaction study in the transportation/logistics field. The key elements of the high standards of performance include customer service, innovation in information technology, on-time performance, overall value and equipment and operations.
