Akron, OH--March 3, 2004--Frank Steinhauer, a professional driver for Roadway Express, Inc. has traveled over one million safe miles, the equivalent of circling the earth's equator 40 times, without a preventable accident.
Steinhauer, 51, has been a linehaul driver for Roadway for 13 years and is domiciled at the carrier's Cincinnati, OH facility. He is a member of Local 100 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

Steinhauer will be recognized for his achievement with a celebration dinner, a plaque, and a jacket honoring his commitment to safety.

Steinhauer resides in Florence, KY, with his wife of 13 years, Juanita. He has three grown children, and three grandchildren. In addition to being a "million-miler" Frank is also a very avid boater.
