The C-TPAT Security Link Portal became operational on June 1, 2006. This significant advancement in the C-TPAT program's evolution allows for enhanced and improved processing and communication for C-TPAT participants and certified C-TPAT members. This portal is mandatory for all eligible participants. It brings greater consistency and security information detail.
There were some difficulties when the portal was first implemented. The C-TPAT Program Office has worked diligently to resolve these issues.
This has resulted in an extension for all enrollment sectors to submit their supply chain security profiles. The deadline is now October 1, 2006. There will not be any further extensions. Members who do not provide their security profiles by October 1, 2006 may lose all program benefits.
