Roadway Announces ACE Compliance By January Deadline [01.25.2007]

AKRON, Ohio — January 25, 2007 — Roadway, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ: YRCW), announced today that it will be compliant with the Automated Commercial Environment Project (ACE) by the January 25, 2007 deadline for ACE compliance.

Roadway has been directly involved with the Automated Commercial Environment Project (ACE) since its inception in 2004 and has spent the last six months testing the transmission of electronic manifest (E-manifest) while working hand-in-hand with Customs & Border Protection to evaluate the process to meet the expectations set forth with the introduction of ACE.

As an ACE compliant provider, Roadway maintains its Homeland Security certification. As one of the first to meet new ACE requirements, Roadway continues to provide its customers with best at the border service.
