ROADWAY EXPRESS NAMED "QUEST FOR QUALITY" CARRIER FOR THIRTEENTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR [8/13/97]
AKRON, Ohio - August 13, 1997- For the thirteenth consecutive year, Roadway Express, Inc., is being recognized in the current issue of Distribution as a Quest for Quality carrier.
The only industry-wide quality recognition program in transportation, winners of this award must receive scores that are average or above average in five categories:

The survey, the oldest and largest in the country, makes the August issue of Distribution one of the most highly read in the industry and is used as a benchmark by transportation and logistics executives nationwide. Approximately 3,500 readers participated in this years survey, submitting more than 35,000 individual carrier evaluations.
