These drivers merit the highest recognition for their dedication to safety, professionalism, and driving skill. As state champions, these drivers will compete at the American Trucking Associations National Truck Driving Championships (NTDC). This year the NTDC will be held at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center in Long Beach, California, August 12 - 15.
Both the state and national competitions include difficult skills and maneuvering tests and a written examination covering vehicle operation and federal safety regulations. Competitors are also tested on their vehicle inspection procedures.
