Employees In The Spotlight

St. Louis, Mo. road drivers Larry Mangrum and Bob Stump helped out a driver who ran out of gas in the sweltering heat.

St. Louis, Mo. drivers Larry Mangrum and Bob Stump were stopped on the highway when a woman along with her daughter and young grandchildren approached them. Their car had run out of gas and the 120 plus-degree heat was unbearable for the small children. Larry and bob invited them into their air-conditioned truck and gave them some cold water. They filled a gas can and helped them start the car and then followed them to the gas station. The grandmother wrote, "Thanks to Roadway for having two such wonderful drivers. It's nice to know that there are still some kind and caring people on the road."
