Brad Bryant, Roadway-Sponsored Champions Tour Golfer, Arrives in Scotland Ready to Play
Brad arrived at historic Muirfield in Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland ready to play. He was joined by Scott Hoch and Stewart Ginn for the first two rounds. Ginn would go on to tie for second with O'Meara, one shot behind winner, Tom Watson.
This was Watson's third Senior Open Championship in five years. The slim margin of one over Mark O'Meara and Stewart Ginn proved the metal of the links course. No player finished under par.
The strong wind was a factor on day three, taking leads away and keeping low scores at a minimum. Brad's weekend ended tied in 30th place.
He slips to second place in the Charles Schwab Cup season-long race, 40 points behind Jay Haas whose fourth place tie at Muirfield netted him enough points to jump in front of Brad.
Brad returns to the states and joins the field of the 3M Championship, at TPC Twin Cities, Blaine, Minnesota, August 3-5.
