Brad Bryant, Roadway-Sponsored Champions Tour Golfer, Finishes Fourth in Points at The Charles Schwab Cup Race
The season-long Charles Schwab Cup Race came to a close on Sunday, October 28, at the beautiful and challenging Sonoma Golf Club.
Jim Thorpe successfully defended his title by birdying the last four holes to win the tournament with a final 20 under. Loren Roberts won the Charles Schwab Cup points and the $1 million annuity.
Brad Bryant was within one shot of the leaders at the turn of the final round but had four bogeys on the back nine dropping out of the hunt. Had Bryant won the tournament, he could have also won the points championship. He finished tied for twentieth in the tournament, and fourth in points.
After 24 events and two wins--including the U.S. Senior Open and 10 top-ten finishes--Brad is third on the money list for 2007. While disappointed with the finish in Sonoma, Brad posted some great numbers and had a fantastic year.
