Roadway went "live" with our public site, roadway.com, on August 21, 1995. Four years later, we released our extranet, my.roadway.com, a website packed with shipment and account information, exclusively for customers.
I want to know Roadway standard service days, but roadway.com doesn't provide it. Where can I find this information?
You can find our transit times along with customer-specific pricing, payment and invoice information, shipment details, customizable reports, proactive tracking and much more at my.roadway.com. It's a secure web site for customers ONLY, specific to your shipping information.

What do customers ask to see the most on the Roadway website?
Customers want more information available online 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week. We have developed several customer tools for both roadway.com and my.roadway.com. We will continue to add new information, resources, links, and applications based on your needs and feedback. Our goal is to make our ecommerce offerings indispensable resources.
What if I want to create bills of lading and rate shipments on my PC?
ExpressWORKS™ is the Roadway Windows®-based transportation management software for the LTL industry. It integrates shipment information and tracking technology to reduce administrative costs and create transportation management solutions. The Windows®-based, web-enabled version was released in February of 2000. Check our ExpressWORKS™ section often to download updates for the software.

How can I get a rate quote for my shipment?
Based on your suggestions, we've enhanced our Rating and Routing tool to give you a more accurate rate quote. Enter the origin, destination, weight and class to receive an itemized list of charges. You can also enter your discount, if applicable, and choose the currency and we'll figure the charges for you. Does Roadway handle Hazardous Materials?
Yes. Roadway handles all DOT hazard classes except for 1.1, 1.2.and 1.3 explosives and class 6.2, infectious substances. We also do not handle those commodities meeting the definition of a "highly hazardous material" or any nitrocellulose. Something else to remember - hazardous materials are not the same as hazardous waste and Roadway does not transport any hazardous or nonhazardous waste.
We are able to answer your questions that are related to the hazardous material regulations. If you have shipping paper, marking and labeling, placarding or packaging questions, contact the YRC Worldwide Enterprise Services Chemical Help Line at 1-800-395-5446, Option 2. The Chemical Helpline is staffed with highly trained personnel, armed with the expertise and knowledge to answer your questions. The staff is available from 6 AM to 7 PM, every day. Any questions received after 7 will be answered the next business day.
Prevention of hazardous material incidents is stressed with our employees, but when an incident occurs, Roadway is capable of handling it as a result of our partnership with several certified emergency contractors across the country. Our service centers contact the 1-800 number; Option 1 to initiate the steps to ensure the incident is handled from cleanup to disposal within the regulatory guidelines. If there are delays or shortages to your shipment, you will be notified by the service center representative.
