- Chamber of Commerce site is gateway
to a world of chamber resources, having a directory of U.S. chambers as
well as links to Chambers of Commerce around the world. A second site is

- Financial
Data Finder from Ohio State University is a directory of hundreds
of financial and economic data sources such as time-series data sources, financial
reports on foreign companies, and earnings forecasts.
- 1997 NAICS and 1987
SIC Code Information Page explains the new North American Industry
Classification System. Includes a page that will match the new NAICS codes
to their corresponding SIC code.
- The site of the U.S.
Census Bureau 1997 Economic Census, Summary
of National Statistics by SIC Code allows access to manufacturing
statistics. This site of the 1992 Census contains the most current information
available, since the 1997 Economic Census will not be completed and released
until Fall of 1998. Breakdown goes as deep as 4-digit SIC codes, and includes
the number of establishments, revenue, payroll, number of employees, and a
detailed description of the SIC Code.
